Anna M. Lozoya is in house counsel for a real estate investment corporation in Chicago. The corporation owns over 170 units in four counties in the Chicago area. Ms. Lozoya handles all aspects of commercial and residential transactions including but not limited to drafting and negotiating contracts. Ms. Lozoya also advises executives and management of potential legal exposures and develops strategic solutions. Additionally, Ms. Lozoya represents the corporation in all landlord-tenant disputes as well as collecting the corporation’s debt.
Anna recently joined Law Offices Michael V. Favia & Associates as Of Counsel. Anna handles independent medical examination (IME) matters related to worker’s compensation and personal injury; consults on regulatory matters with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the Illinois Department of Public Health; and provides thorough medical chart examinations and analysis for plaintiff and defense.
Ms. Lozoya currently holds the position of secretary of the Puerto Rican Bar Association of Illinois and will serve as Treasurer for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. As Region IX Deputy President of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), Anna assists the Regional President with organizing events and creating the regional newsletter. Anna also sits on the Annual Convention Committee of the HNBA and co-chairs the registration and marketing committee for the Annual Convention. The Annual Convention will be held in Chicago from September 7-9, 2016. Anna also co- chairs the Bar Organization Outreach Committee and the Health Law Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
